Liscannor Ladies Crowned County Champions! 🏆⚪🔴

Final score:
Liscannor 0-10
West Clare Gaels 2-02
Trailing by five points at half-time (0-2 to 2-1), Liscannor produced a stunning second-half comeback to draw level and force extra time. In the final minutes, they found another gear — edging ahead to seal a dramatic and hard-fought two-point win.
Captain RĂłisĂn Considine proudly lifted the SĂle Callinan Cup, while Orfhlaith Considine was named Player of the Match after a standout performance.
This victory means Liscannor Ladies will now play senior football in 2026 and represent Clare in the Munster LGFA Intermediate Semi-Final on the weekend of October 25th/26th, facing the Kerry champions.
Huge credit to the entire panel of 35 players for their resilience and belief, and to the dedicated management team of Tony Roche, GearĂłid Curtin, and Alan Flaherty, whose leadership has been key.
To the incredible supporters who travelled in numbers — thank you. The atmosphere was electric, and your presence truly spurred the team on.
Congratulations to our new County Champions — you’ve made the whole parish proud. Onward to Munster — and enjoy every minute of the celebrations!
