Nestled along the Wild Atlantic Way between Liscannor Village and the Cliffs of Moher, The Rock Shop is a family-owned gem of a destination. Housed in a former primary school, it’s grown since 1996 into what many call a “virtual Aladdin’s cave” filled with gemstones, fossils, jewellery, Connemara marble, and unique crafts sourced from Ireland and around the world.

A visit here is more than shopping—it’s an experience. Step into the bright, airy tearoom to relax with freshly ground coffee, warm homemade scones, soups, cakes (including gluten- and dairy-free options), all served with a view of Liscannor Bay. A free audiovisual presentation reveals the fascinating history of quarrying local flagstones, adding a rich cultural layer to your visit. With free on-site car and coach parking, it’s a warm, welcoming stop for families, collectors, and curiosity seekers alike.
